Reception Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 are £1.60 per day (£8.00 per week) and Year 5 and 6 are £1.65 a day (£8.25 per week)  Any quieres regarding free school meals should be deirected initially to the school Administrative Assistant.

Uniform

This school does have an official uniform. This was introduced because of parental preference. Coats should be labelled clearly with the child's name and parents are asked to dress children sensibly.

Boys: greytrousers/navy V neck sweatshirt/sky blue polo shirt

Girls: Grey pinafore/skirt/trousers/navy V neck sweatshirt/cardigan

Four young children clothes should allow the child to dress and undress unaided. Fashion shoes can be dangerous. Jewellery, rings and earings are not considered suitable. Gairgel is not allowed.

PE: Navy blue shorts/whiote T shirt. Black pumps are also required for PE, they need not be any specific brand and the cost should not be high.

Please label all uniform clearly with the child's name.

Jamali on Armley Town Street can provide schoolwear with the Holy Family logo on.

Parents of children with SEN support group

Staff from the West SILC , Extended services, Parent Partnership and Mencap have been working together to discuss how they can provide support to parents of children with special educational needs. They feel there is a need for a joint approach to providing support for parents of children with additional needs in group situations in the west wedge of Leeds .

There is a proposal to organise regular open mornings for parents throughout the west of Leeds . These will be informal drop in sessions which will be supported by staff from the SILC, Extended Services, Parent Partnership, Mencap and any other interested agency. This group will hopefully link with parent ambassadors.

They aim to provide:

  • Opportunities for parents to meet each other in an informal, supportive and relaxed environment.

  • Information, contact, support and guidance through displays and leaflets

  • Occasional guest speakers on issues of parents concern

  • Support for the extended family

  • A suggestion box giving parents the opportunity to feel they have a voice in how meetings are organised and future focus.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact:
