Key Stage One

Key Stage 1 is Year One and Year Two. The Year 1 teacher is Miss Wolfe and the Year 2 teacher is Miss Jenkinson.

What's going on in Key Stage One....

Cookery club will be staring soon just  for Year One and Two. We went on a Key Stage trip  to Scarborough. Next year's trip is yet to be confirmed! Year two celebrated Talk Like A Pirate day in September 2009 and had a pirate party. The children enjoyed playing and learning with pirate themed games and dressing up like a pirate for the whole day! At Christmas time Key Stage 1 perform their Christmas play  "Donkey For Sale" or "The Shiny Star".

Year One have recently had their playground re-surfaced which has made it even more safe and tidy. The children enjoyed learning about the machines used and discussing how the new playground was made. Year One celebtrated Chinese New Year by decorating the classrooms, playing with toy dragons and lions, and tasting an assortment of Chinese food. Thank you to Mrs Liew who donated all the gifts and food and let us borrow her toys and clothes.

Year Two have made some fabulous puppets. Well done!
